Israeli Photographer and Lecturer Harel Stanton studied fine art at the College for Art and Photography in Tel Aviv Israel. He has been a staff photographer and freelance photographer for some of Israel's premier geographic journals and "Haaretz" Daily Newspaper.
Harel’s photographs have been exhibited in Israel and the United States at numerous exhibitions.
Harel has taught for nearly ten years at the Geographical College of Photography (Tel Aviv) and Odyssey School of Photography (Tel Aviv) as well as Haifa University. Stanton travels extensively, photographing and giving multimedia photographic presentations.
He has been a visiting artist for The Center of Contemporary Arts (St. Louis MO), The Craftsman Institute(Pittsburgh, PA), Columbia college of art, Chicago, Milwaukee Institute of Arts & Design and the St. Louis Art Museum. He has shared his cultural lectures with some of the worlds most prestigious educational institutions including Washington University, Concordia University, Emery, Harvard and MIT.
Harel is committed to using the medium of photography to educate, enlighten and create broader cultural understanding and dialogue.
