Photography workshops Israel

Harel gives unique photography workshops that allow the participants to experience and learn ethnographic photography and introduces students to new and creative experiments with their camera.
The workshop consists of one full day of instruction and field work followed by a half day (or evening) of discussion and constructive criticism.

This is a unique opportunity for students to get “live” feedback from a professional photographer, and to show the students the “scene” through his eyes. Harel often gives small assignments to help his students connect to their subjects in a different way.

1. Urban Photography
This workshop focuses on urban photography. The participants will explore in this workshop a wide variety of techniques that allow each picture to tell a story. They will experiment with composition, use of light and depth of field, and also to connect to their "subjects" in a new way.

2.  Photographing People
A workshop that will focus on how to photograph people. Not only will they explore the technical aspects of this kind of photography but mainly practice in how to bring out the emotion and unique-ness of a human being through the use of the camera. They will also explore their own, individual place in their picture as the creator and photographer.
