It is a place where the past meets the present, where sacred meets the ordinary, in a chaotic mix of so many religions and worshippers, from all parts of the globe. But above all symbols, Jerusalem is a living thriving city, rich with cafe's, music and night-life, people of all colors, with busy markets and everyday life. On a personal note - my grandfather fought for Jerusalem in 1948, my father had a part in the 6-days-war re-uniting Jerusalem in 1967, and I am named after it...
