The rationale behind Harel's workshops:
It is well known that the power of words, though considerable, pales in comparison to the power of experience (an experience is worth at least a thousand words). Research teaches us that the average tourist remembers little of what he or she hears from a tour guide but a great deal from what is actually experienced. The following are a few proposals for a different kind of photography workshop – one that seeks to create a subjective, individual experience within the context of a group visit to Israel or if you will – an "I" experience within the Israel experience through the lens of a camera.
